What Dr Dave Does
Dr Dave Solsberg is a board certified radiologist . I am also a board certified Neuroradiologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and surgeons. Neuroradiologists are medical doctors that use imaging techniques like MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, x-rays and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat disorders of the head and neck, brain,spine and spinal cord. My special interest include image guided spinal intervention, complex and post operative spine imaging, MR Neurography and muscluloskeletal/sports medicine imaging and especially sleep apnea and airway imaging. I also have a research interest in image post processing especially for magnetic resonance angiography and ct angiography. I have expertise in the Advantage Windows 3d workstation, Intelerad, Centricity and also Efilm and especially Osirix.
Also I work in medical device development and co-founded Vertos Medical (specializes in minimally invasive treatment of spinal stenosis). I have worked with multiple companies including venture capital firms. I enjoy the creative process of inventing and implementing new devices and procedures and intellectual property realization.
